Wide TPU timing belts represent the evolution of transport systems where the following are required:

The combination of high-performance thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) and aramid reinforcement cords ensures rigidity, precise motion control and zero slippage, making these belts ideal for replacing modular belts or conventional conveyor systems.

These belts are designed to provide controlled and stable transport, thanks to a mechanically robust structure and precise tooth geometry.

Materials and structure

  • TPU (polyurethane): high resistance to cutting, abrasion and chemicals
  • Aramid cords: ensure dimensional stability and uniform tension distribution
  • FDA/EU options: available for food-grade applications
  • Optional polyamide fabrics on teeth or backing to reduce friction and noise

Belts are available in different series and pitches, including:

  • GMT3 (3 mm)
  • WT5 (5 mm)
  • WT10 (10 mm)
  • WHTD8M (8 mm)
  • WSTD8 (8 mm)
  • WH 12,7 mm (0,500”)
  • CC8 (8 mm with multiple profiles)
  • With widths up to 450 mm, variable thicknesses and minimum welded lengths from 810 to 1,200 mm (depending on the model)*

*Widths up to 450 mm can be increased up to approx. 1000 mm by longitudinally joining 2 or 3 belts.

Silicone coating

Main characteristics of silicone applied to belts:

Standard colors and hardness: Grey 35 Shore A, Blue 35 Shore A, White 35 Shore A, Transparent 25 Shore A

Standard thickness: from 0.5 mm to 10 mm

Surface finishes: ground smooth, glossy, rough

Minimum wrapping diameter: thickness (mm) × 20

Non-stick properties (anti-adhesive)

Thanks to its low surface energy, silicone prevents sticky substances such as hot-melt adhesives, inks or production residues from adhering to the belt, significantly reducing machine downtime for cleaning.

High friction coefficient (grip)

Unlike more rigid materials, silicone provides excellent grip even with minimal pressure.

High temperature resistance

Silicone maintains its mechanical and elastic properties over a wide temperature range.

Food-grade compliance (FDA)

Our silicone can be certified for direct food contact. Applicable on polyurethane and rubber, on the back or sides for sealing purposes.
